How Productive are you and your mouse?

Did you know that your mouse probably has a lot of adjustments you can make to improve your time spent at your computer?

  1. Click your Start button
  2. Click Control Panel
  3. Then double-click the mouse icon

From there you may be able to:

  • Adjust which button, left or right, you prefer as your primary clicker. Great option for left handed mouse users.
  • Adjust the speed of your double click.
  • Adjust the speed the cursor moves across screen or add a shadow to your cursor.
  • For lazy users, check off the Clicklock box which will enable you to highlight or drag without pushing down the mouse button.
  • Set your cursor to leave trails when you move it. Kids will love this!
  • Change cursor icons to whatever you desire. Time to get out Paintshop and create those sexy feminine cursors?
  • Love to surf but tired of scrolling through long web pages to find what you want? Set your scroll button to jump not one line, but three lines or even a whole page at a time.

Depending on your particular mouse and drivers, you may have more options than this, or less; but you'll never know until you check it out.
